CELEBRATION OF ST. JOHN VIANNEY, OUR PATRON SANT
The Feast of our Patron, St. John Vianney is coming up. It falls on the 4th of August. We plan to celebrate the feast on the Sunday after the fourth which is Sunday August 8th, so that most of you can participate and seek his intercession.

The plan is to have a special Novena prayer from 30 July to 7 August for nine days following the daily Mass. Your special Mass Intentions for these nine days are very welcome and those interested may contact the Parish office.

PARISH REGISTRATION !
New Parishioners are encouraged to register with the parish by completing a parish registration form which is available at the Welcome Table in the hall after Mass or by visiting the parish office. You may wish to offer financial support to the parish by using Sunday Offertory Envelopes or Pre-Authorized withdrawals. Offertory envelopes are available at the Welcome Table or through the parish office. Also: please do not use old envelopes, from other years as the number may be in use by someone else this year, and we want the proper person to get credit for their donation!

KIDS CAMP
Monday July 26th – Friday July 30th from 9 am – 2 pm daily. St. John Vianney Youth Ministry invites your children, of elementary school ages, to join us for a week of crafts, games, songs and fun. Pick up your registration forms at the back table for more details.

PARISH PICNIC
The 8th ANNUAL PARISH PICNIC
will take place on Sunday Sept.ember 12th, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Springwater Provincial Park. Tickets are $17 per vehicle which allows you, and whoever you can fit into your car, entrance to the park, hotdogs, hamburgers, refreshments, and an assortment of sides, salads, and desserts not to mention family, friends and fun! Hope to see you all there. TICKETS ARE ON SALE AFTER ALL MASSES IN THE FOYER.

ATTENTION ALL COOKS AND CRAFTERS
Please remember to set aside a few jars of your best preserves, jams and pickles for the CWL when you are doing your canning and preserving this summer. Our Christmas bazaar will be held Sat. Nov. 06th. All donations of homemade preserves, baking, handmade crafts and knitted goods (some wool is available upon request) are greatly appreciated.
