The current pandemic situation we are all experiencing is unprecedented and is challenging all areas of our lives to adapt to the so-called “new normal”.
It is extremely important for the Church to also adapt and find new ways to continue to offer our Blessed Sacraments as best we can. Therefore, we are very pleased to be able to offer our families an online preparation program for First Holy Communion and Reconciliation so we can begin moving forward to your child’s participation in these sacraments in the Spring of 2021.
The online program consists of 4 sessions that include online videos and homework activities for parents to complete with their child. Each session will take approximately 60 minutes and can be done all at once or over a few days at your discretion. These are not “live” sessions. In addition, you will need to attend the Sacrament of Reconciliation with your child prior to him/her receiving their First Holy Communion.
Current regulations are allowing us to offer mass at 30% capacity and, as is required in most indoor spaces, everyone attending must wear a mask.
This means:
• Masses have been scheduled by school however we are limited in the number or people we can accommodate per Mass.
(Please see the First Communion Registration Form for dates and Mass times)
• Families are asked to limit invited family members/guests to a maximum of 10 people including the communicant and his/her immediate family.
